Blocks Of Color

#OOTD
My orange blazer is from Forever21 but you can find a similar one (here)
white blouse from H&M similar (here)
green jeans from Forever21
leopard flats from Steve Madden

One of my looks I wore while site-seeing in Paris! I wanted to be comfortable but at the same time stylish so I went for this orange boyfriend fit blazer. The material is spandex and polyester so it was easy to move around in. I wore my blazer with a pair of mint green skinnies I snagged at Forever21  for only 15 bucks! What a great steal! The leopard flats I sported was to tone the two colors down or shall I say give it more of a balance. Smart choice for my look, but definitely a bad choice for my feet with all that walking I had to endure. Yikes!

Kela's Kloset
A short while ago I was introduced to a fashion blogger by the name of Kela Walker, you can view her blog (here) whose style I fell in love with! It can be described as timeless, trendy, feminine and chic. Not to mention classy, uptown, and contemporary. She may have the title as a TV host/producer but I definitely think the title "fashionista" is well deserved! Here a just a few of her looks I was inspired by and drooling over!

Did I mention how much I love her style?!
Kela gives great fashion advice on mixing high and low pieces, check her out!

Bonjour Paris!

Any time you don’t hear from me for a while, you know, something is going on.  I had the most exciting past two weeks.  As young adults, we often don’t get the opportunity to travel internationally.  Luckily, I was able to travel to Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France with my sister and members of my church, and what an experience that was!
We all associate Paris with high fashion and fashion is what I was looking for.  The first leg of my trip brought me to Barcelona and boy was it expensive there! Food alone was enough, not to mention the expenses to site-see and transportation. The fashion in Barcelona didn't pull me in as much as Paris did. The simplicity of their looks from their make-up, clothes, to the shoes on their feet was not what I'm use to seeing. The women walked the streets with effortless looks and classic pieces. I didn't have a chance to take photos of the fashion in Barcelona, but I did in Paris which I will be sharing with you all in my upcoming post. The look I wore the day I was visiting the Eiffel Tower was a camel high-waisted maxi skirt, which had pleats after adding the belt at the waist. Underneath I wore a lace crop top and paired my look up with knee-high boots. I threw a navy blue blazer over due to the weather being a bit chilly. I completed my outfit with a bulky pearled necklace, which is one of my current obsessions at the moment!
